Incorporation: Bracken VFD is a corporation under Texas Code. The Board of Directors is elected by the general membership of the Department and is responsible for overseeing operation of the Department including setting and collection of membership dues, appointment of the fire chief, setting the annual budget based on projected funding, purchase and sale of real estate and real property, and approving Standard Operating Guidelines of the Department.
Board Meetings: The Bracken VFD Board of Directors meets at 7:00 PM on the fourth Monday of each month in the Training Room at the Bracken VFD Central Station. Meeting agenda announcements are posted on this web site and at the main entrance of the Central Station. Meeting minutes are posted on this web site . The public is welcome to attend meetings of the board.
